06/12/2010 - Boston, MA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Just prior to Saturday's contest against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Red Sox placed starter Daisuke Matsuzaka on the 15-day disabled list with a right forearm strain.

Scott Atchison got the start for Dice-K.

To fill the roster spot, the Sox recalled left-hander Dustin Richardson from Triple-A Pawtucket.

Matsuzaka, who was 5-2 with a 4.59 earned-run average, had hurled a one-hit shutout over the Phils in his last outing against the club on May 22 in Philadelphia. He had won three of his last four starts prior to this setback.

If there is any category that is not an obvious win for any one nominee in this year's Academy Awards, it would be for Best Picture.  Sure the Departed is a 5/7 favorite, but that's hardly anything when we look at Helen Mirren and her "out-of-reach" 1 to 40 odds (which means you would win a whopping $1 for every $40 bet).

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
